Mark Pearson

I am the Managing Director of Travelounge.

Starting out as a YTS Trainee in the early 80's I soon realised that I had a natural flair for the travel business and this was where my future lay. After working for a number of years I became responsible for a chain of 10 agencies. I then decided that I wanted a new challenge, and in 2001 I founded Travelounge Ltd and it has gone from strength to strength and I take great pride in our achievements.

I have three young children which in recent times has restricted my travelling somewhat! Prior to this I travelled extensively. I am a keen golfer and know all the best courses around the world; my ambition before I retire is to play at the top 10 courses ... and go round in par!

I have worked in the travel industry for over 25 years. Really enjoy getting to know my customers and arranging all their different types of holidays. From challenging round the world and tailor-made itineries to surprise weekends away.

I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively. Destinations include: Japan, Malaysia, Seychelles, Caribbean and the USA. One of my highlights was learning to scuba dive in Israel!
